Support Groups

Camron’s Gift offers free support groups for bereaved families that have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, and/or infant/child loss. Our support groups are funded by community donations and are led by qualified grief counselors and social workers. If a support group is not available in your area and you would like to start one, please contact us and we can help you get started!

Additionally, we offer a one-on-one peer mentor program for individuals that request a more intimate setting where we put you in contact with another bereaved parent that went through a similar experience and is at least 2 years into their grief journey.

*Unfortunately, we are unable to offer one-on-one support with certified therapists or grief counselors. If you are seeking personalized professional help and are unsure where to go, please contact us and we can provide you with recommendations based on your personal needs.*

Camron’s Gift provides guidelines to follow for all of our support groups:

We are hurting. We are here to support each other. Our loses are different but we can walk together. In order to grieve, share, and heal, we need to feel safe. As a result here are our ground rules:

  1. What is shared here is confidential. What is said in the group, stays in the group.

  2. We will not try to fix or make each other feel better. There is no fixing this.

  3. We will not give advice unless someone specifically asks for input.

  4. We will not compare our losses. There is no easier, harder, better, or worse; but only different.

  5. Each person is free to share. Each person is free not to share.

  6. We will respect each other by being careful not to dominate, giving others the chance to share their story.
