Camron’s Gift provides the following services:

• Financial assistance up to $2,000 for families in need for funeral, burial, and/or out-of-pocket medical insurance deductible expenses after loss (miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal/infant loss, TFMR, child loss (ages 1-12), etc).

• One-on-one parent mentor program for individuals seeking a more intimate setting. You will be placed with one of our volunteer parents that went through a similar loss and can relate to you and provide support any way you need (our parent mentors have experienced miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal loss, child loss, infertility, TFMR, IUGR, preeclampsia, IVF, Trisomy 18, embryo loss, NICU stay, ectopic pregnancy, hysterectomy, etc).

• Equine grief therapy sessions for the entire family (parents and siblings) led by licensed grief counselors/therapists (currently only available on Long Island, NY).

• Support groups for fathers, mothers, and/or family members in need.

• Support for current and past NICU families providing information, comfort, and a listening ear to those in need.

• Provide NICU families in our partnering hospitals with parking passes for as long as they’re child is in the NICU.

• Provide partnering hospitals/funeral homes with donated care packages for families that lose a child. Care packages include a pamphlet explaining Camron’s Gift and how the organization can help after loss. The care packages also provide comfort items such as a tote bag, notebook, pen, lip balm, sleep eye mask, and tissues.

• Donate crocheted octopi, blankets, and bonding squares to partnering hospital NICU’s for preemie warriors.

• Events/camps focusing on grief counseling, support, and a loving environment to talk about feelings around others going through the same while providing a fun atmosphere to begin the healing process.
